Dr. Thomas Bellavia, MD Guest Speaker at Greater Newark Healthcare Coalition Summit
Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey, June 21, 2010 - Dr. Thomas Bellavia MD, DABFP, founder of Heights Medical of Hasbrouck Heights, NJ, recently participated as a featured guest speaker for the Greater Newark Healthcare Coalition Summit: Local Primary Care Opportunities and National Healthcare Reform.
Organized by Maria E Vizcarrondo, MS, Director of the Department of Family and Child Well Being and Chairperson for the Greater Newark Healthcare Coalition, the Seminar was presented to primary care practitioners in the Newark area.
Dr. Bellavia’s presentation, New Payment Models was one of the many informative sessions addressing how health information technologies can improve, expand, and transform practices through collaborating to create a regional network and developing a health information exchange throughout the Newark area.
